Todd Kid Foster

Todd Foster (born August 27, 1967, in Great Falls, Montana) is a former American boxer in the Welterweight division.

Todd Foster was the 1987 National Golden Gloves champion as a light-welterweight and then won that division at the 1988 US Nationals, which qualified him for the 1988 US Olympic team. Foster turned professional in January 1989, defeating Chris Alvarado by a second round TKO. He won his first 22 fights, before losing to Jimmy Paul in 1992. Foster met Hector “€œMacho” Camacho for the IBC welterweight title in 1995, but was defeated in a fifth round TKO.

Foster seemed to retire in May 1998, but three years later came back to meet Danny Chavez in July 2001, after which he did retire, ending his professional career with a record of 41 wins (34 by KO), 4 losses (3 by KO), and 1 draw. After his fighting career ended, Foster returned to Montana where he founded Kid Foster’€™s Boxing Academy, which aimed more to fitness than fighting.
